Unless you’re a fanilow, it’s hard to say how much hype is actually surrounding the Broadway opening of “Manilow on Broadway.” But, needless to say, there are some very disappointed fans out there after the Manilow postponed his Broadway opening night and weekend. Battling a bout of bronchitis, Manilow assured that he will be opening next Tuesday. It might just be worth the wait. Last time he was on Broadway more than two decades ago, he was given a special Tony award for “Barry Manilow on Broadway.” He will making up his last-minute cancellations with performances toward the end of February and the beginning of March. Although, this isn’t the first time Manilow has cancelled concerts.
