This isn’t the first show that Al Pacino has been involved in that has had a delayed opening. But, like “The Merchant of Venice" – which delayed so Tony-nominated star Lily Rabe could attend her mother's funeral -- this was not his fault either. The show opened almost a month after it was supposed to due to Hurricane Sandy. The super storm caused cancelled rehearsals that needed to be made up. Some critics suggested that the delay was to rouse ticket sales. Though “Glengarry” didn't have nearly as many previews as “Spider-Man: Turn of the Dark.” It’s a good thing Al Pacino wasn’t flying.
