7. “Mamma Mia!”

There is no better feel-good musical than “Mamma Mia!” especially because this show has the power to make a really awkward situation—you know having three potential dads at a wedding—light-hearted, charming and comical. At home in the Winter Garden Theatre since October 2001, “Mamma Mia!” has become a cherished gem of theater-goers internationally. The musical was so good that Meryl Steep stepped into the lead role, Donna, for the 2008 film, and of course, was amazing in it. The musical has become so popular that it’s hard to remember that ABBA came up with these songs first.
