The Tony-winning Catherine Zeta Jones reminded everyone watching the Oscars on Sunday that she played Velma Kelly in the 2002 Oscar-winning film adaptation of “Chicago.” Along with Renée Zellweger (Roxie Hart) and Richard Gere (Billy Flynn), “Chicago” became a film favorite of musical and non-musical lovers alike. Jones, who took home an Oscar in 2002 for her performance as Kelly, has shown her Broadway chops after taking the home the Tony for leading actress in a musical in “A Little Night Music.” In 2012, Jones showed off her singing voice once again as the conservative housewife Patricia Whitmore in the film 2012 “Rock of Ages.” No matter what she’s singing, audiences will always remember “All That Jazz.”
