Right as the “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” drama was getting good, Alan Cumming dropped from the show. Because of the production’s long delays, Cummings had to move on due to “scheduling conflicts,” although it was also rumored that he left the show because of his role on “The Good Wife.” The actor, who won a Tony for his portrayal of the Emcee in “Cabaret,” was set to play the villainous Green Goblin. The role was assumed by Patrick Page for opening night. Cumming will be back on Broadway this spring for his one-man “Macbeth,” opening on April 21.
