5. Cary Grant

One of the most famous American actors, Cary Grant, decided to focus on being a father over acting. After his last film "Walk, Don't Run," Grant retired from film to raise his daughter Jennifer. Although Grant was 62 when he retired, with a filmography like his he could have undoubtedly gone on to do more great films. But instead he decided to try out something new and later become a creative consultant for the House of Faberge.
