Greatest strength as an actor: I always try to be as open and fearless as possible. It helps me get out of my own way.
Most exciting moment as an actor: While understudying for “Death of a Salesman” on Broadway, Andrew Garfield had to miss a week of rehearsal. I got to rehearse as Biff opposite Philip Seymour Hoffman with the great Mike Nichols [directing]. I still can’t believe it happened.
