1. “Golden Boy”

Seventy-five years after its Broadway premiere, Clifford Odets’ enduring boxing drama returns in this Lincoln Center Theater revival directed by Bartlett Sher. Seth Numrich stars as young musician-turned-prizefighter Joe Bonaparte, leading a cast that features Tony Shalhoub, Danny Burstein, and Yvonne Strahovski. “Golden Boy” opens Dec. 6 at the Belasco Theatre.
