3. Athena Film Festival

Now in its third year, the Athena Film Festival celebrates women’s leadership onscreen and in the real world Feb. 7–10 at Barnard College. The weekend will include feature films (Academy Award nominees “Brave” and “Beasts of the Southern Wild” among them), documentaries, and shorts, as well as panels and workshops for filmmakers.
