3. “The Other Place”

After originating the role Off-Broadway in 2011, Laurie Metcalf reprises her Obie-winning performance as Juliana Smithton in Sharr White’s psychological thriller “The Other Place,” opening Jan. 10 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theater. The Broadway-premiere production also features Daniel Stern and is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello.
