2. Alvin Ailey Opening Night Gala

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater kicks off its five-week holiday season Nov. 28 with dance and musical performances followed by a gala benefit party, where Mo’Nique will serve as honorary chair. The season runs through Dec. 30 at New York City Center.
