Writer, filmmaker, and performance artist Miranda July takes on the role of auctioneer Oct. 18 at UCLA’s Freud Playhouse, where she will interview audience members before putting their personal items up for sale. “[The object] grows in value as you learn more about the person,” July says of the interactive experience.
