4. Dewey Finn in “School of Rock” (2003)

Forget the etudes and concertos. When Dewey Finn (Jack Black) poses as a substitute teacher at Horace Green prep school, he introduces a music program that consists solely of rock. After hooking his students up with a drum kit and some electric guitars, Finn trains the class to form a rock band worthy of competition in the upcoming Battle of the Bands. Yeah, so he may be a total imposter who knows nothing of academics, but the musical talent and self-esteem he bestows upon his students is indisputably educational.
