5. Christine Lakin in “Silence, the Musical!”

Rare is the farceuse who can satirize a well-known target yet maintain her own persona. Troubadour Theater Company mainstay Christine Lakin did just that at the Hayworth Theatre in Hunter Bell and Jon and Alan Kaplan’s unauthorized parody of “Silence of the Lambs,” her uproarious Jodie Foster as credible as her singing and dancing were inimitable.
