3. Lilla Crawford in “Annie”

I have a long history with “Annie,” having worked on the original production. No disrespect to a string of talented young ladies, but I’ve never seen a better Annie than Crawford. Her acting is as fresh, spontaneous, and layered as her voice is filled with clarion warmth. Crawford is enchanting.
