'Les Miz': Who Played It Best? (Slideshow)

5. Thénardier: Michael Kostroff

Okay, maybe there's some bias here, since Kostroff is a frequent Backstage contributor. But his performance in the most recent National Tour of "Les Miz" was funny, clever, and full of joy. Many actors get the awfulness of the character, but few make him so likable.
