6. Jean Valjean: Colm Wilkinson/Hugh Jackman (tie)

Wilkinson originated the role on the West End and Broadway, and his performance is the stuff of legends. But who else could have brought Valjean to life on screen in 2012? Both were the right man for the job at the time and both delivered career-defining performances. Such a treat to see them onscreen together, as Wilkinson appears at the start of the "Les Miz" movie as the Bishop of Digne.
