The genius and talent of Bob Dylan is undeniable, except when it comes to his acting. Few may remember that the musical poet attempted acting, as well as writing and directing. Dylan's first leading role was playing, as expected, a rock musician in 1987's "Hearts of Fire." Although his performance was critically panned, Dylan acted again in 2003's "Masked and Anonymous," which he also co-wrote. Dylan played a rock star again and still received negative criticism. Maybe Bob Dylan should just stick to playing a musician in real life and not on the screen.
