Five years after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, “United 93” premiered at New York City’s Tribeca Film Festival. The film documents the heroic true story of how, on September 11, 2001, passengers onboard Flight 93 seized the plane from the hands of terrorists, and steered it into an open field, thereby preventing it from hitting its D.C. target. A portion of the film’s opening weekend profits were allocated to the creation of a memorial for the real Flight 93 victims.
