7. "Tomorrow Never Dies" (1997)

Brosnan’s second Bond film probably would also have come in first at the box office had it not opened on the same night as "Titanic." The film features psycho media mogul Elliot Carver (Jonathan Pryce), whose loony plan to achieve global media domination depends on starting a war between China and the U.K. A plan this crazy sounds like a job for James Bond, wouldn’t you say? Here’s another fun fact: Carver’s character is supposedly based on real-life media tycoon Rupert Murdoch.
