In this time-traveling psychological thriller, Evan Treborn (Ashton Kutcher) realizes he can travel back in time by reading the journal he kept as a kid. Having suffered a traumatic childhood, Treborn decides to use his time-traveling abilities to change the way things played out in his past. What he doesn’t expect is that the tiny changes he makes to his childhood create monumental – and sometimes horrible – changes to his and his friends’ lives in the present, which he discovers each time he returns from his past. Viewers get to watch Evan frantically travel from decade to decade, trying to produce the ideal present. It’s a super stressful experience, and one that teaches us to never, ever mess with the Butterfly Effect. (Photo by FilmEngine)
