5. “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” (2002)

Opa! Toula Portokalos (Nia Vardalos) is finally getting married! The problem? Toula comes from a huge Greek family, and her fiancé, Ian (John Corbett), is distinctly non-Greek. At first, her family members totally hate Ian, but they eventually discover that maybe Ian isn’t as different from them as they thought. Cue the pig-roasting on the front lawn.
