1. “Survivor”

The set designer would have an interesting task, although he might be able to steal some ideas from “Peter and the Starcatcher,” or simply call Julie Taymor for those creative, exotic touches. No matter what island the cast ends up on, the songs to follow would be larger-than-life. There would be a glamorous rock and occasionally island-themed music. And, the drama would be endless, what with Exile Island, exile twists, immunity idols, tribal councils, and the challenges. Although picking a favorite season to use as inspiration might be rough (“Survivor” is now in its 25th season), Jonny Fairplay—the guy who said his grandmother had died—should definitely make a cameo.
