4. “Judge Judy”

Although “Judge Judy” isn’t the type of reality show that people think of when they picture reality television, “Judge Judy” has the potential to be a big hit on Broadway. Patti LuPone would star as Judge Judith Sheindlin, the wise-cracking, no nonsense judge who is out for justice. Yet, as each case is presented to Judge Judy, parts of her mysterious past spring to life, maybe the audience sees a budding romance between her and Bailiff Byrd. No matter what direction the writers take this show, with LuPone dishing out some justice, it’s bound to be good. The opening number: “The People are Real. The Cases are Real. The Rulings are Final. This is Judge Judy.”
