Jews and shiksas collide in this Off-Broadway battle between “Real Jew” Daphna (Tracee Chimo), her cousin, Liam (Michael Zegen), and Liam’s non-Jewish girlfriend, Melody (Molly Ranson). An argument over the ownership of Daphna and Liam’s grandfather’s chai, a religious emblem worn as a necklace by Jewish men, leads the characters to examine issues of family and faith—moral dilemmas no doubt faced by America’s increasingly secular real-life youth.
