Short-Lived Shows on Broadway

3. “The Anarchist” (2012)

David Mamet’s new play, “The Anarchist,” also announced its closing this week. The show will run until Dec. 16, at which point it will have had 17 regular performances. The show, which stars Patti LuPone and Debra Winger is a 65-minute philosophical conversation that apparently isn’t captivating audiences’ attention.
