6. “A Doll’s Life” (1982)

Ever wonder what happened to Nora after she slammed the door on Torvald at the end of “A Doll’s House”? Apparently, not many other people did either. “A Doll’s Life”—marketed as a musical sequel to Henrik Ibsen’s original masterpiece—premiered on Broadway in 1982, and closed after five performances. It starred George Hearn (pictured) and Betsy Joslyn. Some critics referred to the show as “A Doll’s Death.”
