8. “Kelly” (1965)

In 1886, kooky stuntman Steve Brodie claimed to have jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge and survived. Nearly eighty years later, Eddie Lawrence and Mark Charlap decided to make a musical about it. Known as another of Broadway’s most notorious flops, “Kelly” closed after its opening night performance on Broadway.
