4. Louise Fletcher

I was going to give Fletcher a pass, thinking maybe there weren't a lot of roles to choose from after she won for her iconic turn as Nurse Ratched in 1975's "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." But nothing can excuse her following that up with "Exorcist II: The Heretic." And her descent into cheesy sci-fi in the 1980s ("Strange Behavior," "Strange Invaders," "Firestarter") is pretty inexcusable. If nothing else, her work in "Flowers in the Attic" earns her a place on this list.
