3. "American Horror Story" was "Punished"

There’s been some rumblings about how “American Horror Story” was hurt by submitting itself in the Miniseries category rather than face the big guns in the Drama Series category. The show’s star Dylan McDermott tweeted this link to an Entertainment Weekly story asking if the show was “punished” for its category choice. Let’s be honest: “American Horror Story” wasn’t punished for its category. It was punished for being silly, inconsistent, and just not very good. Jessica Lange deservedly won an acting award for the show, but that’s all they should have expected.
