4. Jimmy Kimmel Does His Best

Hosting a show like this is a thankless job, and Jimmy Kimmel gave it a good try. Still, it was a little disappointing that the genius behind “I’m F-cking Ben Affleck” and the Handsome Men’s Club couldn’t come up with some better bits than the opening, which resorted to cheap Botox jokes. Have to love Lena Dunham of “Girls” eating cake, naked, in a bathroom stall, though. Speaking of which, the nudity was Dunham’s idea. She was set to wear a robe like the others in the sketch, but while on set to shoot the bit, said it would be more in keeping with her show if she were naked. When producers offered to get her a flesh-colored suit to wear, she said it would be best to go commando. As a director herself, she recognized what a pain it is to shoot around a body stocking.
