Based on Cormac McCarthy’s book of the same name, “The Road” is the story of a man (Viggo Mortensen) and his son (Kodi Smit-McPhee) as they struggle to survive in a bleak post-apocalyptic world. As they journey southward in hopes of finding a warmer climate, they’re forced to ward off thieves, and even cannibals. Apocalypses are rough.
