10. Mary Louise Wilson in “4000 Miles”

Wilson was the lovable yet quirky grandmother everyone wishes they had in Amy Herzog’s heartfelt play from Lincoln Center Theater. Balancing Vera Joseph’s feisty and nurturing natures, Wilson made it impossible not to fall head over heels for this woman bonding with her hippie grandson.
