9. Bob Hope

If being invited to host the Oscars a total of nineteen times—more than anyone else—warrants Bob Hope the best host award then it wouldn’t be the only award he’s received. Although famous for always joking over his failure to get nominated for an Oscar, the Academy presented five honorary awards to the legendary host over his 38 years with the Oscars.
