4. “Send in the Clowns”

Babs might not be the most well-known performer of “Send in the Clowns” seeing as Catherine Zeta-Jones took home the Tony Award for her portrayal of Desiree in “A Little Night Music.” But, unlike Zeta-Jones’ performance, Streisand’s feels right. Her delivery is heartbreaking and rich, and her voice fills the role. It would be a marvelous addition to honoring musicals with a rendition of “Send in the Clowns” performed by Streisand. Wouldn’t it be bliss?
