It’s kind of shocking that Meryl Streep didn’t win an Oscar for her performance in the movie adaptation of this long-running Broadway show, since she’s amazing in everything. Besides, the Academy Awards audience might be in the mood for some ABBA songs after the downtrodden depression of “Les Miz.” While she’s not an Oscar nominee this year, it would be nice to hear Meryl Streep’s “Money, Money, Money” or her impressive take on “The Winner Takes it All” at the awards. Just keep Pierce Brosnan far away.
