9. “Burlesque”

Although “Burlesque” was never on a Broadway stage, it’s nice to see a mainstream movie (that didn’t start on Disney) with the aspirations of a musical. It’s a feat that should be recognized. Plus, how cool would it be to see the belting queens, Cher and Christina Aguilera, singing a live duet?
