The talented Bebe Wood of "The New Normal" hits our April 4 cover! Here's a sneak peak at the story, which hits newstands tomorrow!
Though she likes the weather in Los Angeles, Wood says the two years she lived in New York before “The New Normal” brought her out West were amazing, largely because the self-proclaimed “theater nerd” got to see so many Broadway shows. Her take on some recent productions: “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” is simply “the best show ever.” The costumes in “Cinderella” were “out of this world.” And she saw “Peter and the Starcatcher” both Off-Broadway and on. “Personally, I thought it was better Off-Broadway because they cut the best scene out on Broadway,” she says. “There’s a bit where the pirates go to a commercial break and do these hilarious fake commercials. It was my favorite part.” Sounds like if she ever tires of acting, Wood would make a fine theater critic.
