'Act of Valor,' Tyler Perry's 'Good Deeds' Top Weekend Box Office

'Act of Valor,' Tyler Perry's 'Good Deeds' Top Weekend Box Office

Two new films claimed the top spots at the box office last weekend. "Act of Valor," the independently financed low-budget film about U.S. Navy SEALS featuring actual soldiers, was number one with $24.7 million. Coming in second was Tyler Perry's "Good Deeds," which opened with the second-lowest gross for a Perry film.
