Actress Sarah Sutherland Signs with Gersh

Sarah Sutherland has booked her first acting job, landing a guest role on the upcoming HBO series "Veep." Sutherland also has signed with Gersh for representation in all areas.

The daughter of actor Kiefer Sutherland and granddaughter of Donald Sutherland, she graduated from Tisch School of the Arts in May and has opted for the family business.

On "Veep," Sutherland will play the daughter of star Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The comedy, set in the fictional office of a U.S. vice president, is slated to premiere next year.

Sutherland is managed by Adam Albrecht and Leanne Coronel at The Coronel Group.

Both Kiefer Sutherland and Donald Sutherland are represented by CAA, where Kiefer's brother, Roeg Sutherland, is co-head of the agency's film finance and sales group.
