Alicia Silverstone and Malin Akerman Land New Roles

Alicia Silverstone (“Clueless”) joins Henry Winkler, Cheyenne Jackson, Daniel Breaker, and Ari Graynor on Broadway in “The Performers,” David West Read’s new comedy about the Adult Film Awards in Las Vegas that opens Nov. 14.

Malin Akerman (“Rock of Ages”) will play the “beautiful, free-spirited singer-songwriter” mother of Tessa (Jane Levy) on Season 2 of ABC’s “Suburgatory.”
