Fanboys unite! "Marvel's The Avengers," the 3-D comic-book spectacular, obliterated the opening weekend box office record, raking in a whopping $200 million, and overtaking the $169 million conjured up by the previous champ, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 2." Several screenings at IMAX theaters were sold out beginning with Thursday midnight shows. More superheroes will follow this summer with "Spider-Man" and "Batman" expected to challenge the "Avengers'" impressive numbers.
