Casting Director Sharon Lieblein
Sharon Lieblein, VP of Talent, Nickelodeon
Sharon Lieblein is currently the vice president of talent and casting for Nickelodeon Networks, which includes Nickelodeon and TeenNick (formerly The N). Since starting at Nickelodeon in 1999, she has cast or overseen casting on several hit shows and TV movies for the network, including "True Jackson VP," "iCarly," "Zoey 101," "Unfabulous," "Ned's Declassified," "Merry Christmas Drake and Josh," "Gym Teacher," and "Spectacular," among others.
While on staff at Witt-Thomas Productions, she cast TV shows such as "The John Larroquette Show," "Brotherly Love," and "Pearl." As a freelance casting director she cast several pilots for Fox, television movies for NBC and CBS, and independent features.
As the head of live action casting for Nickelodeon Networks, Sharon casts or oversees casting on all live-action pilots, TV movies, specials, interstitials, and current series in production. She works closely with the development and current departments of both channels as well as the brand marketing, press/publicity, and legal teams.
She is a previous board member of the Casting Society of America, a governor of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the vice chair of the advisory committee for Looking Ahead, the young-actors division of the Actors Fund of America.
