Disney World and its resorts are some of the biggest employers of actors, musical theater performers, dancers, stunt doubles, and others with special skills, and many of the jobs are advertised through Backstage! We’ve rounded up 17 of the top jobs from our casting notices for your auditioning pleasure.

ACTORS

German Mechanic, Walt Disney World Entertainment Entertainers
Are you between 6’4’’ and 7’0’’? Audition to play the German Mechanic in the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, Fla.

Leilani, “Spirit of Aloha”
The Walt Disney World Resort is casting for the role of Leilani, a “slender comedic actor with strong movement ability” and Polynesian dance experience. “Spirit of Aloha” is a musical theater interpretation of a classic Hawaiian luau.

Scout, “Spirit of Aloha”
A familiarity with Polynesian dance is required to play this female supporting comedic role in this musical version of a Hawaiian luau. Auditions are Feb. 16 in Kissimmee, Fla.

Disney Junior’s “Play ‘n Dine”
This live performance production at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the Walt Disney World Resort is seeking males and females with youthful and energetic vocals and strong emcee skills. Auditions are Feb. 19 in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. and Feb. 20 in Orlando, Fla., but this job rehearses and performs in the latter.

SINGERS

Ariel, “Voyage of the Little Mermaid”
Have you always wanted to be a Disney Princess? Now’s the chance to get cast as Ariel the mermaid who just wants to be human. Candidates must be petite, between the ages of 16 and 20. She must also be a lyrical pop soprano. Auditions for full- and part-time positions are Feb. 13 in Kissimmee, Fla.

Auntie Wini, “Spirit of Aloha”
Auditions are Feb. 16 in Kissimmee, Fla. to play this mature female character who sings. Comedic timing must be strong in candidates for this position that prefers but doesn’t require previous exposure to Polynesian dance culture. “Spirit of Aloha” is a musical interpretation of a traditional Hawaiian luau.

Kimo, “Spirit of Aloha”
This role is made for a leading man who can capture a pop tenor to G#. This actor must be familiar with Polynesian dance and an athletic build is a plus. Auditions are Feb. 16 in Kissimmee, Fla. “Spirit of Aloha” is a musical theater interpretation of a Hawaiian luau.

Howie, “Spirit of Aloha”
This is the supporting male vocalist in the musical theater interpretation of a luau. To play the comedic character, actors must be able a pop tenor to G#, and it doesn’t hurt if you have exposure to Polynesian dance. Auditions are Feb. 16 in Kissimmee, Fla.

Various Shows, Walt Disney World
Are you a vocalist living in Atlanta, Ga.? Audition for various shows at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. for productions including “Dapper Dans,” (a traditional barbershop quartet) “Festival of the Lion King,” and “Voices of Liberty” (an a cappella ensemble) These gigs audition in Atlanta, Ga. on Feb. 5 and pay $16.28/hr.

Kiume, “The Festival of the Lion King”
Walt Disney World is seeking male vocalists with a strong, powerful presence and resonant bass and baritone out of Atlanta, Ga. to play in “an African-inspired celebration of the music from the feature film.”

Nakawa, “The Festival of the Lion King”
This backup vocalist must be good-looking, confident, and able to sing male pop/R&B second tenor. Auditions are Feb. 5 in Atlanta, Ga.

Zawadi, “The Festival of the Lion King”
If you’re a female vocalist who has a gospel mezzo-soprano voice with a high belt, this might be a good role to audition for on Feb. 5. Zawadi is “Mother Earth to all to know her” in this African-inspired production based on the classic animated film.

Kibibi, “The Festival of the Lion King”
Auditions are Feb. 5 in Atlanta, Ga. to land the role of Kibibi, the sweet and impatient princess who can do a pop/gospel second soprano with a high belt to E.

STUNT DOUBLES

Indiana Jones, Walt Disney World Entertainment Entertainers
Disney is seeking an actor to play the lead role of the Indiana Jones stunt double in an upcoming production of “The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.” The performer must have training in stage combat, good upper body strength, and training in high falls is a plus. The gig offers an Equity Walt Disney World contract and pays $16.28/hr. Auditions will be held Feb. 8.

Marion Ravenswood, Walt Disney World Entertainment Entertainers
Disney World in Orlando, Fla. is seeking a female stunt person to play Marion Ravenswood in the “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.” Candidates must have an athletic build, good upper body strength, and the ability to work at high altitudes. Auditions are Feb. 8.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Gymnasts, “The Festival of the Lion King”
Are you a male gymnast who wants to get to Florida’s Disney World? To land this gig you must be over 18 and be able to demonstrate provision on rings, trampoline, and high bar to audition on Feb. 8 in Orlando, Fla. Those selected will play in “The Festival of the Lion King,” based on the Oscar-winning animated film.

Tumblers, “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular”
Candidates for these roles must be adult males with the ability to do advanced tumble passes, climb, swing, and perform at heights and around special effects. Auditions are Feb. 8 in Orlando, Fla.
