Chang Recieves Lifetime Honor

Tisa Chang, founder/director of Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, will be honored on Sat., Oct. 26, with a lifetime achievement award for her theatrical contributions. The Organiza-tion of Chinese Americans Long Island Chapter will host the gala event at the La Guardia Marriott in East Elmhurst.

Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, now celebrating its 26th year, will launch its 2002-03 season on Fri., Oct. 25, with its production of "Rashomon," followed by a three-week run of Richard Chang's "Goy Vey! Adventures of a Dim Sun in Search of his Wanton Father."

Chang will also join a panel of producers for the American Theatre Wing's "Working in the Theatre" series. At the taping, which will take place Wed., Oct. 30, Chang will join a panel that includes Elizabeth McCann, Amy Nederlander, Daryl Roth, Fran Weissler, and Elizabeth Williams.
