At Fox's Fall Eco-Casino Event on Monday, Colfer gushed to "The Hollywood Reporter," "I just did a movie with Christina Hendricks and she's amazing. One of the sweetest people I've ever met.
"She's literally a Disney princess in human form."
"Struck by Lightning" tells the story of how Colfer's character blackmailed other high school students to contribute to a literary magazine.
Colfer also told "THR"that he's cheering for the "Mad Men" actress to take the Emmy Award for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series on Sunday, "I'm really looking forward to hopefully seeing her win."
Hendricks is nominated for playing sexy Joan Harris on the AMC series. She's up against last year's winner in the category, "The Good Wife's" Archie Panjabi, and "Boardwalk Empire's" Kelly Macdonald, "The Killing's" Michelle Forbes, "Justified's" Margo Martindale, and "The Good Wife's" Christine Baranski.
Like Hendricks, Colfer also received his second Emmy nomination this year. He's up for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series against "Two and a Half Men's" Jon Cryer and "Modern Family" actors Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ed O'Neill, Eric Stonestreet and Ty Burrell.
Hendricks appears in theaters this weekend in the Ryan Gosling stunt car driver thiller, "Drive."
