The Comedy Cellar has added a Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evening performance to showcase and evaluate new talent. Industry will be invited and club representatives will be observing. A singers search/open mike will be held by Billy Shepard & Judi Jourdan at Dillon's, 245 W. 54 St. (opposite Studio 54, "Cabaret"), NYC, Mon. Nov. 13 & Mon. Nov. 20 (and every Monday thereafter) from 7:45-10PM. Pianist provided. You may bring your own trax, or be self-contained. No call or appointment required. Sign-in and sing. No cover; no music charge; $5 minimum food/beverage on Monday open mike. Opportunities for booking in singers lounge for singers, groups, and acts. All styles welcome (no rap). Opportunities to be seen by agents, record producers, TV, cruises, and Atlantic City. If booked for future shows, admission is by tickets which are given to performers. Performers are not required to sell tickets. Pay is a percentage of ticket sales. Tickets range from $5-$15, plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
