Designed by FXFowle, who recently designed Lincoln Center’s North Plaza and Alice Tully Hall, the Center will operate as a laboratory and development space for artists, while also accommodating administrative space. Eventually, the Center will also play host to readings and artist residencies.
“After nearly a century supporting America’s artistic community, we are thrilled to give the world’s most promising talents a place to develop and create stunning new works, while expanding to offer theater lovers new opportunities to deepen and enhance their understanding of the theater,” said Drama League Executive Director Gabriel Shanks in a statement.
