Diane Lane and Finn Wittrock To Star In ‘Sweet Bird Of Youth'

Oscar-nominee Diane Lane will star in David Cromer’s production of the Tennessee Williams’ “Sweet Bird Of Youth,” which begins performances on September 15 at the Goodman Theatre

Finn Wittrock, recently in Mike Nichols revival of Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman,” will co-star as young giglo Chance Wayne, while Lane plays Princess Kosmonpolis.  

Over two decades, Lane has had expansive career, including, “A Walk On The Moon,” “The Perfect Storm,” and “Killshot.” Not a stranger to the stage she, has been on Broadway, most recently in “Runaways” and “The Cherry Orchard.”

Cromer, whose directorial credits “Our Town” and “Tribes” at the Barrow Street Theater, and “The House of Blue Leaves” and “Brighton Beach Memoirs” on Broadway, will be making his Goodman Theatre directorial debut.
