San Diego's gay-focused Diversionary Theatre has revealed its 2006-07 bill of fare.
Included are the campy Off-Broadway revue Howard Crabtree's When Pigs Fly (Jul. 21-Aug. 20), coinciding with the city's LGBT Pride events; Nicky Silver's The Maiden's Prayer (Sep. 8-Oct. 1), a darkly comic drama about the effects of love, dependency and real estate on friends; David Sexton and Albert Evans' It's a Fabulous Life (Nov. 17-Dec.10), a gay musical takeoff on Frank Capra's holiday film classic It's a Wonderful Life; the U.S. premiere of Ashraf Johaardien's Happy Endings are Extra (Jan. 17-Feb. 11, 2007); Paula Vogel's The Long Christmas Ride Home (Mar. 23-Apr. 15), a play with puppets and actors; Tom Jacobson's award-winning Bunbury (May 18-Jun. 10), a fanciful story combining characters from classic plays, which premiered last year at North Hollywood's Road Theatre.
